How can we improve our products and make them better for you? That’s where we can use your help!
If there are features that our products do not currently support but you think would be a huge added value for you and lots of other people, then please share them here with us.
Before posting your idea, here are a few tips that will help make your request stand out and succeed:
Look to see if someone else has suggested the same idea, or something very similar. Many ideas are being submitted and it’s very possible that another request already exists. In that case, add your vote to the existing request.
Be as descriptive as possible. What does the feature do? Where would it be located? Who would use it? How does this improve the overall experience of the product?
Please note, this is NOT a place to get support or ask questions about how the plugin works. If you need help, please visit our help desk. If you use one of out free plugins, you can post in that specific plugin forum on WordPress.org.

Create an add-on to allow running the Cloner from the command line
This would allow you to use the php command from scripts to run the cloner with passed in parameters necessary to control cloning.
29 votesIt’s been a while on this thread, but we’re excited to announce that we just added command line / WP CLI support in our latest version 4.0 of NS Cloner Pro!
Check out the documentation at: https://neversettle.it/documentation/ns-cloner/wp-cli-command-line-cloning/

Allow search and replace fields to be saved for future clones
We create custom clones for clients based on replaced keywords. !@STORENAME!@,!@ADDRESS!@ ETC..
The search and replace works great when creating a clone. But I would like to save these fields so I don't have to type them in each time I create a clone. It would speed up the process.
9 votesWe’re excited to announce that you can now save all settings, including search and replace fields, as named presets in the new release of NS Cloner Pro 4.0!
You can read about the new version at: https://neversettle.it/ns-cloner-4-0-released/

To add some add some hooks and filters so it can be used by plugins
Thank you for your great plugin. We have a WordPress plugin that shares file and folders in multisite and it doesn’t need to be copied for every child site.
I wanted to suggest that it will be great if developers can filter files and configuration via WP hooks. Specially in copying files.
I’m referring a hook or filter in nsrecursivedircopy() where:
foreach ($files as $file){
if ($file != “.” && $file != “..” && $file != ‘sites’){
$num = nsrecursivedircopy(“$src/$file”, “$dst/$file”, $num);
}
}
so it can be filtered with hook via our plugin. …6 votesWe’re happy to announce this is now complete – the new release of NS Cloner 4.0 has a bunch of new actions and filters, including a filter called ‘ns_cloner_dir_copy_ignore’ that will let you easily exclude certain uploads directories from being copied.
Check out the in-progress documentation here: https://neversettle.it/documentation/ns-cloner/hooks-filters-actions/

Integrate the Custom Site Fields Configuration in the Registration Templates with ACF fields
I would love to be able to type into the Custom Site Fields Configuration and have it populate information in the ACF options or page fields.
4 votesThis should be fully functional – we’ve just overhauled the Registration Templates functionality in the new 4.0 release of NS Cloner Pro with improved reliability, and the custom site fields will trigger replacements of the specified placeholders anywhere in the database, including in saved ACF fields or options.

Allow the Source drop down to be sorted alphabetically.
It would be handy to have all my template blogs grouped together.
http://note.io/1zffzlZMaybe throw chosen on there too? http://harvesthq.github.io/chosen/
Finally, could the items be numbered by order in the list instead of an ID or order created? Not sure if that is used elsewhere but just 1,2,3... would be more useful for my use case.

let us establish a default "template"
hi - i have quite a few MU-WP sites. my "template" site is a bit difficult to find, and i would like to be able to establish my "template" site as a default.
3 votesThanks again for the idea! I can see how that would make a huge difference on a network with lots of sites. We went ahead and banged this out. Bonus points for leaving a review on WP.org for us: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/ns-cloner-site-copier?rate=5#postform [If you haven’t already].
Cheers,

Allow for short descriptors beside Registration Template selections
There are theme thumbnails for Registration Template selections, but no descriptors. The Registration Templates we are offering have specialized configurations for particular use cases - it would be great to note these tailored uses in the Registration Template form.
2 votesThis is now complete – the whole Registration Templates component in the new release of NS Cloner Pro 4.0 is totally revamped with a new improved frontend and admin UI’s and the ability to add custom thumbnails and descriptions!

Migrate single into Multisite ***
Build (NS cloner X)
remotely pulls single (or subsites)
into a local multisite, as a subsite.Deliciousbrains has one
1 voteWe’re excited to announce that the NS Cloner now has full single site support – you can clone a single site to a multisite or to another single site, and even clone a multisite subsite out of its network to single site!

Address issue with tables
There is an issue with db tables with names that contain wp
e.g.
wp8facetwpindex is the correct new name for my cloned table but it was named wp8facetwp8index .I suggest you check if wp_ is at the start of the table name.
Great plugin otherwise
1 voteTable name replacements are now fixed, along with a ton of other fixes and improvements, in the new 4.0 release of NS Cloner!

Detect Nginx before displaying the .htaccess warning
It's not a big deal, but I have a permanent warning on the top of the screen because Nginx doesn't use .htaccess files.

WP Multi Network Support For Clone Over
I noticed that between NS Cloner Pro and NS Cloner V3 the Clone Over Existing Site feature changed, I see that it's pulling in a list of sites. One dilemma that I just ran into with V3 Clone Over is the fact that I can't clone over Multi Networks. Reference: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-multi-network/
With WP Multi Network, I can quickly park a domain and have www.nitchdomain.com or www.clientsite.com deployed with a basic WordPress blog. With NS Cloner Pro (I think it was 2.1.5) I could look at that new site/blog id and clone a template over it.
With the way Clone Over…
1 voteThis is done and we’ll be releasing it in auto-updates soon as version 1.0.3.1 of the Content and Users Add-on. Feedback always welcome!

Add user-selectable templates to clone for new blog registrations
This would provide self-serve template selection for a new registering user that generates a copy of a template site as their new site from the front-end.

Add options to include only specific tables during Cloning
This add-on would have two separate functions. 1: to allow manual selection of which tables should be cloned to the new site. 2: to allow certain global tables to be set as "excluded" by default any time the root site is cloned.
