Never Settle Products

We here at Never Settle are always looking for new ways to improve our products and we love hearing from you!

How can we improve our products and make them better for you? That’s where we can use your help!

If there are features that our products do not currently support but you think would be a huge added value for you and lots of other people, then please share them here with us.

Before posting your idea, here are a few tips that will help make your request stand out and succeed:

Look to see if someone else has suggested the same idea, or something very similar. Many ideas are being submitted and it’s very possible that another request already exists. In that case, add your vote to the existing request.

Be as descriptive as possible. What does the feature do? Where would it be located? Who would use it? How does this improve the overall experience of the product?

Please note, this is NOT a place to get support or ask questions about how the plugin works. If you need help, please visit our help desk. If you use one of out free plugins, you can post in that specific plugin forum on WordPress.org.

How can we improve our products?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Add featured image to post listings in sidebar

It would be great to show the post feature thumbnail in the search result for the particular post also i want a feature to search the whole site by tags for the category.

  2. Close the sliding panel when user clicks anywhere outside the panel

Please consider adding a feature to close the sliding panel when user clicks anywhere outside the panel.

  3. Make the sliding panel mobile responsive

The sidebar doesn't seems to be mobile responsive. I mean the width doesn't adjust automatically when I resize the browser.

  5. Limit search results to specific WP post categories

For some use cases, a full site search is not appropriate. It would be useful to be able to limit the results displayed in NS Slidebar to those returned from searching a set of specific WordPress post categories; those categories to be determined by the WP admin and defined in the NS Slidebar configuration.

  6. Make the Search function on the NS Sidebar trackable through Google

With the Not Provided count near 100% in Google Analytics, it would be nice to be able to track site searches using the NS Sidebar search function.

  7. Display sliding panel on the left corner of the page

I would like to have the option to display the sliding panel on the left hand side of the screen rather than right

  8. Make search an optional feature

NS Slidebar is very slick, but some users may not want/need the search functionality. Add an option to disable it, such that it will only display WordPress widgets. Could be useful in different scenarios, particularly for mobile-friendly website design where it's handy to ditch any existing sidebars altogether.

  9. Make NS Slidebar localizable

I tried to translate the NS Slidebar with Loco Translate, didn't work as it should. Would be great to have the search at site's language. Otherwise nice plugin, great work!
