Page Templates

This section covers information about the page templates included in Powerstore Theme. 4.1 Basic (default) 4.2 Blog 4.3 FAQ 4.4 Locations 4.5 Visual Composer Templates 4.6 Visual Composer Shortcodes

4.1 Basic (default)

The basic page template (default template) includes the following options:

Page layout

You can select to have a boxed layout for the content with margins on the sides or full-width layout. The margins that will be applied in the boxed layout are set in Theme Options->Global Boxed Layout Margin. You can also choose to display sidebars in the page. Powerstore theme: Page layout

Hero image

You add a hero image and title and subtitle for the page, using this hero image will replace the default page title and page featured image. You can also disable all page heading (hero image and default title + featured image) which can be useful when using Visual Composer hero image shortcode. Powerstore theme: Hero image  

4.2 Blog

The Blog template is used to display posts from post categories. When selecting this page template it will allow you to choose the category/categories to display in the page. To control the columns (sidebars) layout and the styling of blog page use the Theme Options->Blog settings. Powerstore theme: Blog template  

4.3 FAQ

FAQ page template allows you to insert topics/questions and their answers and they will be displayed after the content of the page. Powerstore theme: FAQ  

4.4 Locations

The “All locations” page templates can be used to display locations

Location filter

you can filter the locations displayed by selecting the locations or choosing a state, then all locations in the selected state will be displayed Powerstore theme: Location template filter  

Hero image

4.5 Visual Composer Templates

PowerStore theme includes 1 Visual Composer template called “PowerStore Landing Page” which will build a demo landing page where you can edit all text and elements. Powerstore theme: Landing page template

Product Taxonomy Filter

This will place a filter for product taxonomy allowing the users to select the taxonomy (for example brand) and the term (for example Patagonia) and once they choose it will take them to a filtered product list page.

Location reviews

This will place a reviews slider for the selected location and the review can be pulled from the site (reviews added through locations->reviews), yelp (yelp details configured in each location) and google (google details configured in each location). If “All locations” is select it will display reviews from random locations.

Review count

This will place a rating and a count for reviews form the selected source: site (reviews added through locations->reviews), yelp (yelp details configured in each location) and google (google details configured in each location). If “All locations” is select it will display reviews count and rating from random locations

Hero image

This will place a hero image layout allowing you to choose the background image  and its size and style and the content (heading, text, etc) to be included. Use this to have extended functionality of the built in hero image option.

Products

This will display products in a grid layout allowing you to set the ID of the products to be displayed, or the products to be excluded, the number of products to be displayed, filter the displayed products by brand and to change the button text and link for the button displayed after the products (useful for “All products links for example”)

CTA Banner

This will add a banner allowing you to select the image, button link, button text, and button color.

Categories

This will display a list of taxonomies (categories, brands, tags, etc) in a grid layout allowing you to input an intro text and to select the taxonomy to be displayed.
