How to Use with Network Media Library

If you are using the Network Media Library plugin, and already have subdomains/subdirectories built in multisite with uploaded media, you’ll need to follow a few extra steps to make sure all media is cloned correctly:

1. Disable Network Media Library
2. Go to the sub-sites individually and open the media libraries
3. Make note of which media was uploaded to that sub-site
4. Upload this media to the source site that you plan to use
5. If cloning over an existing site, remove ALL media from the target site(s) media
6. Clone new site or over existing site with ‘copy media’ setting unchecked
7. Re-enable Network Media Library

New uploads should always be done through the media library from the dashboard.
